Rather watch Deathshead calmly ask me about which friend I should lead to their demise, than watch TNCs villian trying to be romantic with me before she chops off my head. The villian in TNO was terrifying and more interesting than TNCs. TNCs gunplay was still amazing, but there is something about TNOs gunplay that feels more addictive and fun.
It is hard to explain, but shooting down nazis in that game just felt more satisfying to me. I feel like they made parts of the maps in TNO have more of a purpose, and that they didnt just put in pointless random areas just to fill the map.
